DIY Reversible Tote Bag - Denim Jeans Bag with Rope Straps
I bought this pattern and made the hat for a friend’s birthday last October. The pattern pieces were perfect, the video instructions clear and concise, and the hat was a breeze to construct…the hardest part of this project was choosing the fabric. To say the least, my friend LOVED her new sun hat and she’s complimented every time she wears it. Thank you.
Love this idea! Make a beautiful adornment!
Thank you so much Angela, I really really enjoyed watching you create this superb and unique hair combs, but with the fabric you gave it a unique feel. Great idea too. Please stay safe and well too xxxx Mags ❤❤❤❤❤ I love ❤❤❤❤ it very much too
I like your fabric Scrunchie Hair Comb better than the beaded one.
Thanks Arvetta🥰
Loved it
Turned out lovely ❤❤
Clever idea -love it and have ordered a bodkin -very cheap on Amazon UK Prime😊👍Thank you-love your channel ❤
You’re welcome 😊
I came across this a couple months ago and immediately had to try it. Every time I’ve used it since, I’ve thought “this person should win a Nobel Prize for this.” So thank you very much for sharing!

LOVE IT!!! I really need to make some of these!
Please do!
I ❤ it too!!! I just need the supplies & off I go!🎉
Have fun!
I truly 🥰 your videos!! They’re well thought out, well spoken & simple/easy to understand. THANK YOU for putting these vids out for us.
Thanks for your kind words. I appreciate it. They are a lot of work….
Where did you buy your beautiful material please?
Quilting fabric at Spotlight in Australia
I love it! Thank you!
Thank you😊
Thank you!
Thanks for watching🥰
Thank you all for watching. If you could do me a favour and hit Subscribe, turn on all Notifications, and share with your sewing friends, it will help me more than you know 🥰 What do you think of this creation combining scrunchies with hair combs?
Thank you for this, bought a lovely vintage leather jacket and used your video to help me. Very pleased! 😀
That’s great! Thank you for watching 🙏
Thank youuuuuuuuuu I love u so much😢 my zipper got seperated after I stitched it to the frock I have been working on for 5 days. Thank you so much
Glad it helped. Do not sew too close to teeth for invisible zipper. Although it looks nice, it will be harder to pull up when on your body.
New subscriber. Love this tutorial.❤ may I know what the size of the foot you're using?
it is a standard foot for industrial machine.
Beautiful…
Thank you! Cheers!
GREAT video! I have a question...what seam allowance should I allow in my patterns for your flat felled seam demonstrations? Thanks!
Whatever width you would like your seam to be, add that seam allowance to one side and double that for side you fold over.
I just used this technique and it came out absolutely perfect the first time.. Perfect….Thank you…
Great! Please check out some of my other methods
Thank so much was really easy to follow 😊
You’re welcome 😊. Great to hear!
It did not work for me😔
adjust to a slower playback speed and watch again to see what step you missed
That was a really nice solution! I Was about to buy something like this online but ended up doing this instead. Not as pretty since I sewed it by hand (and I'm not good at it haha) but overall I'm happy with outcome, thanks for the tutorial
Great!
Such clever tips👌👍😊👏
Glad you like them!
Very neat love it many thanks
Glad you like it
Ha I’ve got one of those and I had an awful job getting the slider on the end of your zipper pouch using never ending zipper tape🙄😬 still I finished it and pretty happy - room for improvement 😊
Boy google has your site messed up. If I didn’t like the ease of your directions would have moved on to another site. Then it took me to instagram when I tried to leave a comment to compliment you. Just FYI GREAT and easy directions and not dragged out. Yours is the best site I visited for this!
Thank you
Thank you so much!! I love your patterns❤❤❤❤I just bought this one and made a few😊 and the bucket hat pattern ❤❤❤
Wonderful!
Hermoso felicitaciones.Me gustaría el tutorial para hacerlo
Cuando mires un video "corto", simplemente toca la pequeña flecha en la parte inferior izquierda y te llevará al video completo😊
Hi! What’s the fabric name? Is it satin?
it is quilting cotton
سلام من الجزائر ❤🎉
Everything very well explained! Thank you
Glad it was helpful!
So cute.
Great tips. Love this design.
Thank you! Cheers! Please be aware that this video and many others of mine have been used by dishonest businesses to sell bogus copies of my patterns. I do not sell plastic templates and only patterns from Notches Sewing are genuine. Do not get scammed!
Thank you. So simple yet so pretty and useful.
Glad you like it!
Pretty idea, i love it. Thank you...❤
You are so welcome!
Amazing little tips -thank you🙏😊🤩 what is that pointed tool you are using-very useful? I think it’s a finger presser but it’s over A$16! £8 plus in UK? Think I could use a chop stick or a 6.5mm or 9mm knitting needle which I have🙄😂?!👍😊
yes it’s a finger press point turner. I have a link for it down in the description. It’s only $6.40 USD but yes you can also use those other items. An awl or screwdriver will do as well
@@NotchesSewing Ha thanks yes I did click your link and you’re right it is only $6.40 so not sure where I got those high prices from?! Knitting needle works well😊👍
Hi again what is the difference between fusible interfacing and batting - both seem to be medium weight? Many thanks -got my #3 zipper tape today so will make this lovely bag soon❤😊👍
interfacing is flat and batting has a thickness to it. It will give the project a puffiness to it.
@@NotchesSewing Ah right thank you 🙏
Haaaaa‼️🥰 absolutely awesome idea, so cool you made me laugh
Glad you liked it!!
I've made your burrito scrunchie which was a brilliantly tutorial and I've also made your tote bag (friends material) for my daughter, made her another recently. Its so well finished and with your expert instructions it was easy for a beginner 😊
Thanks so much for watching. Please try some of my other projects😊
Thanks your video ! It's beautiful 🌹. Can i learn your video 😳?
Yes you can!
@@NotchesSewing thank you so much! 🌹💗😳
Where do you buy such sturdy tea towels?
Most of my towels are from Spotlight in Australia and I buy wherever there is a sale!😃
Love this design 🤩 I always enjoy watching and listening to your tutorials . Thank you so very much. ♥️🇺🇸🩵
Thanks so much 😊
I bought one of those kits that squeezes plastic snaps onto projects, they're pricey and the snaps do not stay on. I am a big fan of hook and loop tape. I did not consider this on my tea towels. Thank you, Angela.
Yes they are not great on thicker items and I don’t like the look of them. I cover them up with some of my projects like this -ruclips.net/video/0Ife3g1QF2Q/видео.html
I can use every single hack you demonstrated. They're Brilliant. Thank you so much
Fantastic! Please have a look on my channel for my first hacks video and let me know what you think😊
Wow, love this idea! Your so good at explaining. I really enjoy your videos. Thank you. 😊
Thank you so much🥰
I love your voice, it’s very calming and I’m glad I ran across your videos. It’s been years since I’ve sewn and recently I found several sewing machines that I forgot I had. You make me wanna sew. Looking forward to more videos. Janice
Thank you so much! I have a few easy projects on my channel so give it a go again!😀
Hi Angela have you done a zippered tote bag video? Love this one but would be good to have a zip! Love that handy tip for sewing round the corners😊👍
Not yet, Thanks for the suggestion 😊
Hi Angela! I just watched your other video and am loving your suggestions! You demonstrate how these hacks actually work and I reallly appreciate your efforts. BTW, I've been using the single edge razor blade as a seam ripper for many years. People gasp when I pull it out so I bought a normal seam ripper tool to take to class. (But I still love and use my razors! LOL!!)
Razors rule! Many years ago I had to alter a brides dress as it was too small and needed an insert down the entire side. To make the fitting go quicker, I started taking it apart with the razor with no problem at all as I’ve been doing it for almost 40yrs. The fitting went very well and she was happy with the outcome. Then I get a phone call from her fiancé later to ask me how dare I use a razor blade on her.dress!! I asked him what is the difference if I use that or another tool? She would have to stand there for 4 times longer …. He said it just seemed strange! She was fine with it all as the dress turned out better than she imagined.
@@NotchesSewing I was taught sewing by my mother who was a couturier. As a small child I used only an industrial sewing machine, no fancy computerized machines here. We used tools that worked efficiently and effectively. Hence, using a razor! I can appreciate your use of household items for the sewing room!
I also started on an industrial as a child😊
